St Jago look to extend win streak
September 16, 2016
St Jago coach Glen Laing is hoping his team will build on its early progress after two wins from as many outings in the ISSA/Flow Manning Cup this season.
The team go for their third win when they go to face Hydel High at Caymanas today at 3.30 p.m.
"We know everybody is ironing the kinks so we are trying to catch them before they sort out their difficulties," said Laing.
"We saw that Calabar lost their first game and we were hoping to open some daylight between us and them because this zone is one of the tougher zones."
The latest win was against Calabar where a first half goal by Kirk Samuda gave them a 1-0 win.
